Disadvantages of heavy concrete

One of the main disadvantages of heavy concrete is the high cost of its production and construction. Because the use of metal particles in the construction of this type of concrete greatly increases the cost. In addition to metal materials, the aggregates used in the construction of this type of concrete have specific characteristics and standards. For this reason, they are only extracted from certain mines. As a result, the cost of extracting and transporting stones should be added to the cost of producing heavy concrete.
